A slide has opened in Los Angeles. Slides are in children's parks, but the scary Skyslide is on the outside of a 70-story . It is made of just 3 cm . People who go on it look down at the street 300 metres below. It is part of a tower in L.A. It cost $3.5 million to build. The slide starts at the 70th and goes down 15 metres to the 69th floor. It takes about five to get from top to bottom. Riders sit on a special safety and push themselves out of a window. Only one person can go on the slide at one .

The that owns the building said it had many meetings about what to make. It wanted something . The president said: "We have to do something that doesn't exist else." The slide is safe to support a school bus filled with people. A spoke about the slide. He said: "Before you can get a really scream going, you're launched out onto a safety mat on an outdoor on the 69th floor." Tickets to get into the Skyspace on the 70th floor are $25 for adults and $19 for children. A ride on the Skyslide costs an $8.
