Google has started an app for people to give $1 to charities. Its 'One Today' app shows many charities every day. Its website says: "Open the app, and [you see] several projects to which you can donate $1 with one click….And most people can afford the occasional $1 donation." It is only in the USA but Google hopes it will be worldwide. It said, "we look forward to continuing to improve…and to growing our dynamic community".

The One Today website said Google has always supported non-profits and that One Today makes fundraising easy for them. It also makes giving simple and fun. People can learn more about non-profits, and share their favourite projects. Google asked people to "do good daily" and help hundreds of charities be successful. Google is amazed by the great work non-profits do every day to make the world better. It is happy the app can help people give to charity.
