First Esports World Cup ends in Saudi Arabia
The Esports World Cup ended on Sunday. The eight-week-long competition was held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Thirty teams from across the globe competed in 22 games. The winner of the tournament was Team Falcons. They won $7 million for finishing top of the table. The total prize money on offer at the World Cup was $60 million. On Tuesday, Team Falcons faced off against Team Neymar Jr, led by the Brazilian soccer star. They played Counter-Strike 2, Rocket League, and TEKKEN 8. Neymar's side beat Team Falcons 2-1. Team Falcons won two of the major games and were runners-up in two. They came top in Call of Duty: Warzone and in Free Fire. |
