Sesame Street is moving to Netflix. The popular show started in 1969. There have been 4,731 episodes. Netflix said the show excites children, and encourages a love of learning. Elmo's World will be in the new season. Well-known characters like Big Bird and Count von Count will also be there.

In the 1960s, a psychologist, a TV producer and Harvard University tried to think of a new way to teach children. Since 1969, Sesame Street has taught easy maths, reading, and social skills to children worldwide.
