A report says 60% of Americans think online dating is a good way to meet people. Ten years ago, this was 44%. About one in ten Americans has tried it. The report said many people met their long-time partner online. Some people think the Internet is bad for relationships. Internet users always have other people to date.

Women must be careful with online dates. There are lots of creepy or unattractive guys. Men can have problems finding a date. This is because women get many e-mails. Many online daters read profiles of people they know. People must be careful about liars. Most online daters have met someone who was very different from their profile.
