The Reading / Listening - Level 0

Britain will stop people smoking in cars with children. It will be illegal. Britain wants to stop children from breathing in cigarette smoke. This can be the same as smoking. Children who sit in smoke-filled cars have health problems. There is very little space. The car fills with smoke and becomes unhealthy quickly.

Some people think the idea takes away the freedom of smokers. They think it is OK to smoke in a car. Some people are worried that soon, no one can smoke in a car. Britain's health minister said healthy children were more important than people wanting to smoke in their car.
