The Reading / Listening - Level 0

All 298 passengers and crew died in the Malaysia Airlines plane that crashed on Thursday. Ukraine said pro-Russian rebels did it. The rebels say their technology cannot do this. They said Ukraine did it. The plane was flying to Kuala Lumpur. The pilot heard the route above Ukraine was safe. There was war on the ground.

We must find out what happened. We need the airplane's black box. This has information about the flight. The rebels control the crash area. Ukraine said rebels used a Russian missile to hit the plane. A rebel leader said Ukraine shot the plane. No more planes can fly above Ukraine. All air space above Ukraine is now closed.
