Most people have to be 18 to drive a car. Max Verstappen is 16. He will be the youngest ever Formula 1 driver. He will be 17 in his first race. He will race drivers like Fernando Alonso. His debut will be at the Australian Grand Prix. When he was seven years old, he wanted to be an F1 driver. His dream has come true."

Max's boss was very happy. He thinks Max is a skilled young driver. He also thinks Max has the "mental strength" to be successful. The team will give Max a good car. That is important to start his Formula 1 career with. Max's father was a racing driver. His father helped Max "day and night, year after year". Max thanked him.
