A says having a lot of money makes you . Professor Paul Piff spent ten years looking at the of rich people. He found their was very different to poor people's behaviour. Dr Piff said rich people break , do not follow the , and do not care about others. He also said people cheat more at games and are less to help others. Professor Piff told the BBC that wealth makes you think more about your own , desires and welfare. They think their own goals and needs are the most important in life.

The professor said poorer people are more than rich people. They give a higher of their money to help others, usually one-and-a- times as much as richer people. He said that the wealthier people are, the less generous they are. However, he also said rich people could change and become and more generous. He said rich people can help more if they know that giving and helping is a thing. The professor said when rich people know the of giving to others, they can be as giving as poor .
