A called Rewilding Britain wants to return a area of Scotland to how it was a years ago. It wants forests and lost animals, birds and to return. The group aims to put back into the the wolf, which died out in Britain in 1680. Hunters killed all. Other that could return to mountains, rivers and seas include the lynx (a wild cat), beavers, sea eagles and whales. The charities want one-twentieth of the country to return to its state. The area it wants is the UK's cleanest . It hopes this can happen by the year 2030.

They also say beaver dams would increase the of flooding farmland, and that sea eagles would kill lambs. A Rewilding Britain spokeswoman said: "Re-wilding is really for everyone who cares about our . Our ecosystems need us." She added that it was to re-wild Britain for, " forests to regenerate" and to give "seas a to recover from fishing".
