The Czech Republic is planning to adopt a snappy short-form name to ensure it has an easier time around at by for in into of on over with home and around the world. It wants to be officially known around at by for in into of on over with the noun 'Czechia' instead around at by for in into of on over with incorrectly around at by for in into of on over with the adjective 'Czech'. Government officials say this more concise name will avoid confusion around at by for in into of on over with what to call the country. They are tired around at by for in into of on over with being called around at by for in into of on over with erroneous names such as Czecho or Czechland. A foreign office spokesperson said: "Our hope is that this step will overcome the problems we face around at by for in into of on over with distorting the name and that the correct terms will dissolve around at by for in into of on over with general knowledge." The government will seek a formal change around at by for in into of on over with the United Nations database around at by for in into of on over with country names. The Czech Republic government said it is following the example around at by for in into of on over with what many countries around at by for in into of on over with the world have done around at by for in into of on over with decades. A spokesman said the Commonwealth around at by for in into of on over with Australia and the Republic of France are commonly known as Australia and France. The length around at by for in into of on over with the three-word name, 'the Czech Republic,' already leads to short cuts being made. A leading beer maker states around at by for in into of on over with its labels that its product is 'brewed around at by for in into of on over with Plzen - Czech'. Some national sports teams drop the article 'the' and put just two words around at by for in into of on over with their shirts - 'Czech Republic'. Foreign minister Lubomir Zaoralek said the name 'Czechia' is not widely popular but he said there seems to be no other alternative.
