The Reading / Listening - Ferrari Luce - Level 1

Ferrari made its first fully electric car. It is called Luce. This means "light" in Italian. The car is the first five-seater made by Ferrari. It is not cheap. If you want to buy one, you must have money. It costs $640,000. Ferrari said the car comes from working with "outstanding technology partners". It added that the car has great performance, driving pleasure, and comfort "for the Ferrari drivers of today and tomorrow".

The Luce was co-designed by the designer of the Apple iPhone. Many reviewers said the car looks like an "Apple car". One website wrote: "Luce looks almost nothing like a Ferrari." However, the car has Ferrari's power and speed. It can go from 0-100 kph in 2.5 seconds. It has a top speed of over 310 kph. It also has a range of over 500 kilometres between charges. A Ferrari spokesperson said the Luce was "absolutely stunning".
