Prince Harry cannot stay at Buckingham Palace while he is in the U.K. This is because he missed a deadline to tell the palace about his plans. Harry was going to visit the U.K. with his wife and children. However, he didn't bring his family because the U.K. would not pay for police protection. Harry decided not to stay at the palace if his family could not visit with him. He then changed his mind. However, the palace said his change of plan was too late.
Newspapers are full of stories about the relationship between Harry and his family. Relations have not been good since 2020. That is when he moved to California. He left to protect his family from the press. In 2022, Harry released a Netflix documentary. A year later, his book "Spare" was published. The two things made relations with his brother Prince William worse. King Charles is sad. He wants to see his grandchildren.
