READING:

Many people want to take the perfect photograph. Influencers try hard to do this. They want their followers to see their photos. Some influencers are risking their lives by swimming with sharks. However, things can go wrong and people can be bitten by sharks. The host of the Shark Bytes YouTube channel says he is hearing about "way more" shark attacks than ever before. He warned that sharks were dangerous predators. He said they were very large wild animals. He added: "You wouldn't walk into the Serengeti [on safari] and try to put your hand on the face of a lion."

Shark experts are warning influencers to stay away from sharks. They say many people try to photograph sharks and then get injured or killed. Last year, a shark bit both hands off a woman when she tried to take a photo of it. Her husband tried to protect her. He said it was a "living nightmare". Two months later, another influencer was killed. He was trying to feed the sharks to get them to come closer, but they attacked him. Experts said influencers are sending a dangerous message to their followers because the followers might think it is safe to touch sharks.
