The Reading / Listening - Level 0

Unhappily married people risk having a broken heart. A bad marriage is riskier for older women. A study said an unhappy marriage is bad for our heart. Older women have more heart problems because they care more. A wife will care for her sick husband. She stresses if she cannot care for her husband.

Researchers studied 1,200 married people. They asked questions about marriage. They asked if they spent free time with their partner and if they trusted their spouse. Doctors said the quality of marriage changed people's health. People in bad marriages had more heart attacks and had higher blood pressure.
