READING:

There is a lot of "micro-crime" in Britain. Three in every four people in the UK are hiding a criminal history. Almost 74 per cent of British people are 'micro-criminals'. They have done at least one small, 'micro' crime." The most common micro crime is paying someone cash when they know that person will not pay tax on it.

Men are the biggest micro criminals. About 80 per cent of middle-class people are micro-criminals. The second biggest micro crime is illegal downloading. About 30 per cent of people did this. Other crimes include not paying for supermarket bags, lying about your age to get a better deal, and eating things in shops without paying.
