READING:

Somalia restarted its postal service. The old one finished in 1991. There were many wars. There was no mail for 20 years. Somalia is safer now. People will get postcodes for the first time. A man was excited about the new service. People can now get letters from abroad. Soon, they can send letters to other countries.

The postal service shows Somalia is getting back to normal. The country also got its first ever ATM. It is in a hotel in the capital city. A few people used it. Most guests don't know about it. They don't have a credit card to use it. The Chinese embassy is also back, for the first time in 23 years. China is important for Somalia.
