READING:

More people are speaking to their mobile devices for online search. Better voice recognition technology means our technology now understands us. Google's recent Mobile Voice Study found that voice searches on mobile devices more than doubled in the past year. It said voice search is more popular with teenagers than adults. The researchers found that 55% of teenagers and 41% of adults used voice search more than once a day.

Google explained that voice search is a key feature of the Google app. It said voice search is becoming more important because people spend more time on their mobile phones. Teenagers think voice search is a normal part of technology. Adults say it makes them feel "tech savvy". People use voice search to multi-task while watching TV or cooking. Almost a third of the teenagers surveyed said they get answers to their homework by using voice search.
