READING:

A games designer said video games should be in the Olympics. Rob Pardo said video games (also called e-sports) would make the Olympics more modern. Millions of people love competitive gaming. Mr Pardo said professional gamers have "lightning quick" skills. They make hundreds of quick decisions in every game.

It is difficult to get e-sports into the Olympics because it uses technology. Pardo says it is a sport because it needs effort and skill. PC Magazine said there could be an international competition just for e-sports. Gaming would be the main event. In the Olympics, gaming would be just one of many sports.
