Teenage drivers are the most likely to crash. Teens are 1.6 times likelier to crash than adult drivers. Teen driver deaths are increasing. There is a lot to do to cut teen crashes and deaths. A road safety group said: "The increase in teen driver fatal crashes is [worrying] and [we] are keeping a watchful eye."

There is a special Driving Skills for Life program. It is in 35 countries. It teaches new drivers about road dangers and safe driving. It has been very successful in helping [new] and younger drivers be safer. The biggest risk is the first six months after teens get their license. It's easy to understand why parents worry.
