The UN has said Rohingya Muslims in Myanmar are facing a . Hundreds of  of Rohingya have fled over the  to Bangladesh. The UN Secretary-General said the Rohingya are being attacked by Myanmar's  forces. Over 379,000 Rohingyas have fled the  since last . The BBC said whole villages have been burned down. The Myanmar army said it isn't targeting the Rohingya. The Rohingya are a  Muslim people. They have lived in Rakhine  for hundreds of , but Myanmar calls them  immigrants. 
Many  are asking Myanmar's Aung San Suu Kyi to help the Rohingya. They want her Nobel Peace Prize to be taken away if  doesn't act. They say she cannot keep the  while the Rohingya are suffering in her . Ms Suu Kyi has not criticized the  on the Rohingya. Bangladesh has asked Myanmar to take the Rohingya  back. However, the Myanmar  said Myanmar couldn't do . A spokesman said Buddhists are the  people of Rakhine state and have been living there, "since the  of their forefathers".
