This is the text (if you need help).
There has been speculation about whether or not the Tokyo Olympics will happen. The International Olympic Committee (IOC) vowed they would take place. It said: "Our task is to organize the Olympic Games and not to cancel them." It is working "day and night" and is "confident" the Games would go ahead, "unless some drastic changes occur". It added: "There are no certainties in life and what might happen with the virus."
The Games are a logistical nightmare. Authorities have to keep safe athletes, reporters and spectators. Tokyo is currently under a state of emergency. It has a third wave of infections. Warmer weather and a vaccine rollout may see safer conditions. Japan's Prime Minister is sure the Games will take place. However, an anti-Olympics group says Japan's government is "obsessed" with the Games. It said: "The Olympics would sacrifice people's lives."
