President Donald Trump has promised "golden age" for America. He made his promise in his inauguration speech. He was sworn in as President on 20th of January. He became USA's 47th President. He was also the 45th, as he served in that role from 2017 to 2021. He made his acceptance speech at United States Capitol, Washington, D.C. He promised to reshape America, stating: " golden age of America begins right now. From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again all over world. We will be envy of every nation." He added that: "During every single day of Trump administration, I will very simply put America first."
President Trump said he was on God-given mission. He spoke about surviving assassination attempt in July. He said: "My life was saved…by God to make America great again." He made some huge promises. One of biggest was to "launch American astronauts to plant Stars and Stripes on planet Mars." He vowed to strengthen the US economy and cut inflation. He also said he would tap into America's fossil fuel resources. He said: "We will drill, baby, drill." He added: "America will be manufacturing nation once again. We have something that no other manufacturing nation will ever have - largest amount of oil and gas of any country on Earth. And, we are going to use it."
