President Donald Trump has promised a "golden age" America. He made his promise his inauguration speech. He was sworn as President on the 20th January. He became the USA's 47th President. He was also the 45th, as he served that role from 2017 to 2021. He made his acceptance speech the United States Capitol, Washington, D.C. He promised to reshape America, stating: "The golden age America begins right now. From this day forward, our country will flourish and be respected again all the world. We will be the envy every nation." He added that: "During every single day the Trump administration, I will very simply put America first."
President Trump said he was a God-given mission. He spoke about surviving an assassination attempt July. He said: "My life was saved… God to make America great again." He made some huge promises. One the biggest was to "launch American astronauts to plant the Stars and Stripes the planet Mars." He vowed to strengthen the US economy and cut inflation. He also said he would tap America's fossil fuel resources. He said: "We will drill, baby, drill." He added: "America will be a manufacturing nation once again. We have something that no other manufacturing nation will ever have - the largest amount oil and gas any country on Earth. And, we are going to use it."
