He also won the UEFA Champions League a record five times.

In 2014, Brazil was beaten 7-1 by Germany in the semi-finals. The head of Brazil's football federation hopes Ancelotti can change Brazil's fortunes. He said: "Ancelotti is the greatest coach in history, and now he is at the head of the greatest national team on the planet." Ancelotti will be coach of Brazil's team for next month's World Cup qualifying games against Paraguay and Ecuador.
