Paragraph 1
A record-breaking
opened on Sunday in China. The Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge in Guizhou Province is the world's
bridge. It stands at a
of 625 metres above the Beipan River. The 2,890-metre-long bridge also has the longest
of any bridge ever constructed in
terrain. Its
span stretches 1,420 metres. The bridge will have a
impact on the regional
and revitalize
areas. It will also slash the travel time between the two
of the Beipan River from two hours to just two minutes.
