1 million Syrian child refugees (24th August, 2013)

There are one million child refugees in Syria. They left because it is too dangerous. They went to other countries. The UN said the children are not numbers. Two million children in Syria have no home. We cannot understand their sad life. 740,000 child refugees are under eleven. The United Nations says this is very bad.

Syria's civil war started in 2011. It is the biggest refugee emergency since 1994. Syria's children are losing their home, family and future. They are shocked and sad. They have no hope. They are not safe in other countries. Many work in the sex trade. The UN said most of them cannot go to school.
