Many Xbox One customers are disappointed. They get error messages when they switch the machine on. An update made the machine "brick" (become useless). Microsoft told users if a machine freezes for more than 10 minutes, they should contact customer support. Someone will help them. Microsoft's big rival Sony also has a new console - the PlayStation 4. It is $80 cheaper. Gamers are calling it a "pure gaming machine".
