The Ebola virus is getting worse. So far, 763 people got the virus, and 468 of these died. The United Nations said it is the biggest and deadliest Ebola outbreak ever. Most deaths were in Guinea, where the outbreak started. People also died in neighbouring countries. African health ministers are getting worried. Eleven countries are meeting in Ghana. They will talk about how to control the situation. They want to stop people from dying.

The World Health Organization (WHO) said we should stop the virus. The WHO wants all countries to work together. It said if everyone helps, "we can get a grip and halt this outbreak". Trade between African countries can spread the virus easily. The WHO said we need "a strong response", especially in border areas where countries trade. This will not stop. Ebola kills up to 90 per cent of people who get it. There is no vaccine or cure for it.
