This is the text (if you need help).
There are shortages of food and basic goods in Venezuela. People panic and buy too much when they see things in stores. The president will start a new system so people can't buy too much. Stores will scan customers' fingerprints when they buy food. This is so everyone gets an equal share of food. No one knows when the new system will start. It could be January. People do not know how much food they can buy or what happens if they buy too much.
There are many reasons for the food shortages. Smugglers buy cheap food and resell it in Colombia for four times the original price. Another reason is that the government controls food prices so food companies cannot make a profit. A final reason is Venezuela's currency is weak, so imported food is expensive. People say fingerprinting takes away people's privacy. The economy must change. The government must have less control.
