Ferrari has its first ever fully electric car. The sports car maker showed the car to the world on Monday. It is called Luce, which means "light" in Italian. The car is the first five-seater made by Ferrari. It is not cheap. Anyone who wants to buy one must have money. It costs $640,000. The Ferrari website said the car is part of "an ecosystem of collaborations with outstanding technology partners". It added that the car "combines unique driving emotions with extraordinary performance, driving pleasure, and comfort for the [Ferrari drivers] of today and tomorrow".

The Luce was co-designed by former Apple chief designer Jony Ive. He designed the iMac computer and iPhone. Many reviewers said the Luce looks like an "Apple car". One website wrote: "Luce looks almost nothing like a Ferrari. In fact, it looks more like something Apple would make." However, the car has Ferrari's power and speed. It can go from 0-100 kph in 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of over 310 kph. The car has four electric motors. It also has a range of over 500 kilometres between charges. A Ferrari spokesperson said the Luce was "absolutely stunning".
